We have described the initial situation for your Quality Assurance processes in the previous part. In this part, We will determine the key factors and prioritise them. We will do this by examining the popular QA tools and features.
How can we find popular test tools?
Your first answer will be Google, but for reasons such as ads, adwords, trust Alexa more. Also got support from Alexa page ranking in this work. We had to eliminate the test tools of some successful companies whose main job was not testing. Because there were too many tools, We did not have enough time for all. Also eliminated tools that specialize only in a certain area but have no service in other areas. Because We are looking for a fully integrated solution, a single product that contains all the solutions.
How can we decide the key features of the tools?
When We investigated these test tools, found 146 different features. However, We realized that would not use many of these features. We had determined our own needs in Part-1.
We eliminated many features that have no major advantages (Using emulators, Xamarin support). Also, We did not add standard features such as screenshot and logging.
