Quick Start with Cross Test Automation

Before start with Cross project, You need at least 1 project’s TestCase done (iOS, Android, Web, API or Desktop). Otherwise, you can not run a cross test if there is no testcase to choose.

Let’s start!

1- Create a new Cross automate project

• Click PROJECTS and select the CROSS tab

• Click ADD NEW FLOW button

• Set your test name

2- Manage your test flow with existing projects

• Flow Management screen will be opened. Click Plus button.

• Select one of the projects and click ADD PROJECT button for adding to the flow.

• Click ADD button to add TestCases for the project.

• Select you Testcase(s) and Click ADD CASE button

• Click “…“ menu button which is on the right top corner of the project logo. You should add other projects or the same project again with different TestCases.

• Double arrows mean that project’s tests will be started at the same time. Single back arrow means that you should add an another project before the selected project. Single right arrow means that you should add an another project after the selected project.

• Add Case(s) to all projects on the flow.

3- Run a test and check the results

• Click TEST RUNS link from the top menu.

• You should review your cross test plan on pipeline view.

• Click NEW RUN button.

• Click SELECT DEVICE button for Running Now.

• Select your Device for each Project. Device selection options should be different for each project.

• You could select 1 Device per project.

• Click NEXT APPLICATION button to select for the next project’s device.

• Finally click RUN button

• Check the Test Results

• Click Logs to view logs or Click Test Results to access the Test Run details.
